Release notes

What changed in recent VloamClip builds.

  1. v1.1.5Released 2026-10-07

    • Windows: much lower idle CPU when the panel is closed — the embedded browser suspends, and clipboard updates no longer wake it while hidden.
    • Windows: clipboard watching is event-driven (no constant polling), so the tray stays quiet between copies.
    • History list rows ship short snippets; hover / Space preview loads the full clip by id — faster with long text.
    • Closed panel and settings window go dormant sooner; lists refresh when you reopen instead of on every background copy.

    • Windows: recover more cleanly if the embedded browser (WebView2) fails — fewer frozen or empty windows.
    • Settings window maximize / restore stays in sync with the title-bar buttons.
    • Linux: right-clicking the tray icon opens the menu only, and no longer toggles the panel as well.

    • Appearance: follow system, or lock light / dark (settings + panel).
    • Settings window chrome: frameless caption buttons on Windows/Linux; transparent title bar on macOS.
    • History content preview no longer covers the list; when space is tight it stacks above or below the panel; long text height is measured correctly.
    • Enqueue toast stays in a screen corner (macOS top-right, Windows bottom-right) and flattens multi-line clipboard text to one line.
    • Dragging the panel or queue items no longer flashes a text caret; queue drag handle is more reliable.
    • About settings: open the product website in one click.

  4. v1.1.2Released 2026-08-29

    • New shortcuts: paste as plain text (⌘⇧V / Ctrl+Shift+V).
    • Paste the previous queue item again (⌥⇧V on Mac / Ctrl+Shift+B on Windows; avoids Finder’s ⌘⌥V).
    • Queue footer shows the next-paste shortcut; history times use a clear timeline (HH:mm / MM-DD).
    • “Pin window” is now “Keep front”; favorites say “Add to favorites”.
    • Login stays signed in through brief network errors; the sign-in dialog no longer vanishes with the panel.
    • New app icon; macOS menu-bar icon follows light/dark; color tray on Windows/Linux.
    • Clearer panel, empty states, settings, and sign-in UI; history import capped at 20 MiB.

    • Site download area now shows version and last updated date.
    • Paste queue and history search performance tweaks.
